Whole Woman's Health

Creative Directing for Change

Whole Woman’s Health

There are all kinds of rights under attack in this country. With Dobbs vs. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, 50 years of a person’s right to choose what’s best for their health, family, and future was about to be reversed. My Creative Director partner, Brock Pisciotta, and I wanted to do something about it.

It started with an interview on Rachel Maddow. Amy Hagstrom Miller, Founder and CEO of Whole Woman’s Health, was sounding the alarm.

The next day…

…we sent an unsolicited email to Whole Woman’s Health, the nation’s largest independent abortion provider in the US, volunteering our services.

As an independent organization, Whole Woman’s Health relies almost solely on individual donations, so we created a toolkit consisting of organic & paid social, digital display ads and a t-shirt that outperformed sales goals by 500%.

We obviously haven’t solved the problem, but it sure feels good to contribute.

What’s more, as Brock and I endeavored to concept and execute campaigns and assets pro bono for WWH, several colleagues raised their hands to help. Art directors. Copywriters. Strategists. Media. Producers.

I’m grateful to each and every one of them, and their enthusiasm gives me hope.

If you are part of a social impact organization and need any type of pro bono creative direction, writing, strategy, messaging, or merch development, please reach out.
