TROUBLE CITY | IS AMANDA WALLACE
Why? Because when I was baby, I used to pile up the toys in my crib and hurl myself over the side to freedom. The nickname stuck.
I’m a Creative Director, leader, marketer, writer, and above all else, a mentor.
As a manager, I lead with positivity. I want my teams to feel heard and motivated to do the best work of their careers. I want them to grow, and above all, look out for each other.
I am lucky enough to be on the cutting edge of social media, and to be well-educated and well-versed in the bold, bucking-the-trend moves it takes for brands to genuinely resonate with Gen Z and Millennials. I feel grateful to have had the freedom to operate in a space where experimentation is encouraged, and in that space, have learned that cohorts, cultural context, and constant evolution matter above all.
What’s my next move?
To take on a substantial leadership position at a brand or agency committed to movement, a sustainable future, human and women’s rights, and relevance.
Proud mama of 2 basset hounds, I eat, breathe and sleep news, science, music, art, history and, of course, trouble.
