Experience

Group Creative Director, Social, Monks

Mar 2024 - Present, Remote

  • Lead social (creatively) across the Google and YouTube accounts, helping to foster a social-first approach, not just across work streams and products, but for Google as an organization.

  • We are helping to evolve the way all marketing is approached within Google, crafting social at the center to drive not just social creative, but marketing at every touchpoint.

  • In addition to creatively leading this vision for all of our Google and YouTube social across North America, I am helping to structure the team, set up roles and responsibilities, implement AI adoption across all aspects of creative, and evolve processes to make this new vision a seamless reality, internally at Monks and for Google/YouTube.

Creative Director, VaynerMedia

October 2022 - March 2024, Los Angeles, California

  • Led one of Vayner's newest accounts—Ticketmaster (Scope: $2.7M, 9 creatives). We were been tasked with rehauling their brand reputation on social media, as well as launching their presence on TikTok. For the first time ever, we marketed and activated around their key partnerships, including the NFL, NBA, and NHL, while strategically repositioning them in the music and culture space and revamping their community management.

  • I also led the Toyota (Scope, $2M, Parts & Services social and e-commerce, 5 creatives), TikTok (Scope: $2M, social AOR, 8 creatives), and Club Pilates (Scope: $3M, 11 creatives) accounts. Club Pilates was another net new client in the building, and we executed social, paid media, and brand marketing initiatives for retention and acquisition.

  • I managed 20-25 creators, 2-3 copywriters and 2 art directors, and had the absolute best time mentoring and learning from them every day.

Creative Director, VMLY&R

April 2021 - September 2022, Seattle (Remote from Los Angeles)

  • As co-lead on the Intel account, I was part of a global effort to reintroduce one of the world's leading tech brands to a world that only knows them for "chips." As part of that effort, we amplified stories of innovation across multiple sectors and key partnerships, and executed two global campaigns for the Beijing and Tokyo Olympics to celebrate their major sponsorship. This was a real creative challenge, with COVID rules in place during the Beijing Olympics in particular.

  • Co-led new business pitches and contributed to agency growth.

Associate Creative Director, Javelin Agency

June 2020 - April 2021, Los Angeles

  • Co-led a creative team on holistic, multi-platform campaigns for AT&T, including social, digital, retail, newsletter, and landing pages.

  • Directed COVID-friendly shoots in order to deliver original content.

  • Pitched new business and explored new areas of opportunity with current clients.

  • Actively participated in Javelin's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee, specifically spearheading a Voter Registration Drive for Javelin and Omnicom leading up to the election.

  • Implemented culture changes, such as weekly department meetings and a dedicated creative Teams channel, to encourage healthy, open communications and build culture remotely.

Freelance Creative Director, Various Companies

August 2019 - June 2020, Los Angeles

  • Clients primarily included Capital One, Walmart, Bosch, De'Longhi, and Milani. Agencies included The Woo, Questus and more. I took this time to work freelance as my husband and I renovated, rebranded and revived a local Los Angeles music venue. Inquire for good stories. and read details below. :)

Owner/Operator, The Lexington Bar

2019-2021, Los Angeles

  • With my husband, bought, renovated, rebranded and revived a small, independent music venue in Downtown LA. Over the course of two years (until the pandemic), we took it from in the red to in the black, serving as highly active owner/operators who did everything from booking, programming and planning to inventory to staffing and marketing and even daily cleaning. We proudly turned The Lexington Bar into a haven for creativity, music, art, comedy, and community, welcoming and serving all genres of music, along with providing a free space for comedians to practice sets and improv.

Associate Creative Director, The Woo

January 2018 - August 2019, Culver City

  • Here, I had the privilege of working on my favorite campaign of all time--the relaunch of Warner Bros.' DC Super Hero Girls. The campaign empowered girls (and boys) to stop wanting to be like their favorite superheroes, and instead realize that their favorite heroes...are just like them.

  • Co-creative lead on the launch of Motorola's Z3 phone, Sebastian's Shaper line of hair products and a number of Bosch products.

  • At The Woo, I did everything from lead concepting sessions to manage creatives through every step of production and, of course, I wrote for all manner of platforms. I grew my leadership skills and (as with Something Massive) wrote in different voices simultaneously for a refreshing range of clients.

Copywriter, Saatchi & Saatchi

July 2016 - January 2018, Torrance

  • Concepted and executed multi-platform digital campaigns and vehicle launches for Toyota. Used data in an innovative way to make content personal. Our team set aside the 3-video campaign approach and used magic sauce to instead make thousands of videos and digital executions. To us, targeted content meant less noise, more nuance and a more impactful use of time, money and creative energy.
