Leveraging the popular hashtag (as of 2015), we launched a no frills, down and dirty social series that playfully called out those utterly (sur)real moments people with diabetes know all too well.


Seasonal Life Hacks

Diabetes is a lifelong disease and learning process. Every passing holiday, season and weather brings with it a fun set of unique challenges, so We created Seasonal Life Hacks to help address some of these unforeseen hurdles.


History of Innovation

Not the sexiest sounding, but a goldmine. Medtronic Diabetes has a rich history of innovation, so we encouraged them to brag a little, and lay out just a few of the many tricks they've had up their sleeves all these years.


The Bite

Sooner or later, everybody runs out of snack ideas. When you have diabetes, this isn't just a bummer; it can actually be dangerous. We decided to address this, covering the three main snacking "events" for people living with diabetes: 1) Planned Snacks, 2) Unplanned (Low-Carb) Snacks, 3) "Emergency" Snacks.


Medtronic | The Results

With careful planning, the creative team at Something Massive was able to successfully launch relatable, helpful, human content. Through a variety of social series, we meaningfully engaged and grew the Medtronic community, and also transcended its confines into the broader diabetes community. To date, Medtronic has thousands of new fans on Facebook, a new and growing Instagram account and increased likes, comments and engagement across all platforms. 

In conclusion, being human works like a charm.
